Thank you for this video series. I have been a member of the club and tried several ornaments. I have had various “issues” and look forward to having them addressed.

You have an awesome talent Staci and so appreciate your sharing of it with us.

    • StaciAnn Lowry on September 29, 2017 at 10:24 pm

Deborah, I am glad you signed up for this, and I really hope you find it helpful. And, please be sure to let me know if there are any issues that remain after you watch these, so I can do my best to help. 🙂

      • Anne Marie Shelby on October 24, 2017 at 3:29 pm

        Thank you for doing this,

      • Judy Califano on December 18, 2017 at 3:20 pm

I also signed up. Very excited. I started the other day but two questions. I can hardly get the pins into my ball. When I watch and listen to the video I hear the pins going in without any hesitation. Mine does not. Is there a special brand or kind? Also how do you calculate when using a different size ball?

        • Dawn E Donovan on October 5, 2020 at 1:32 pm

I work in a seniors work shop and we use a popsicle stick to push in the pins. I also developed a jig to help keep all swatches at the same distance. I hope this is some help for you.

How neat! What great ideas. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

  2. Wanda on September 29, 2017 at 9:03 pm

I have made approximately 50 of these no sew quilted ornaments. All of them look different just because I used different colors. However, all of them, with the exception of the first kit I received from you in September, are the “star” ornament. I have found tons of designs on the internet and some I can figure out and some I cannot. I find these ornaments are addictive – hope I can sell them! Thank you for your videos and helpful notes.

    • StaciAnn Lowry on September 29, 2017 at 9:47 pm

      You are very welcome!

      • Marji on November 29, 2017 at 5:50 pm

About 50years ago I made a few of these
One thing I did a bit different, I used a small melon baller on one side hollowed out one small place. I filled that cavity with pot puree….lavender was my favorite filler. The place was covered with fabric

        • Christine on May 30, 2020 at 4:11 pm

What a great idea! Thank You Marji.

      • Joan Smith on February 25, 2019 at 1:01 am

StaceAnn, I have registered but I can’t find the site to go to!!!

    • StaciAnn Lowry on September 30, 2017 at 9:59 pm

Shirley, can you check your email again? We had a slight glitch today with so many signups. I’m sorry about that.

  5. Mary on October 1, 2017 at 12:24 am

    Hi StaciAnn,
I signed up the other day and haven’t received any email or where to view the videos. Thanks for any help

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 1, 2017 at 12:42 am

Hi Mary…. will you check your spam folder? I just checked and the emails were sent to your email address, so I am thinking they may have wound up in your spam folder. (Gmail is notorious for that!)

      • Mary on October 1, 2017 at 2:22 pm

I have checked the spam a couple of times. Our crazy cyber world, LOL Just don’t understand I used to get things from you. This

        • StaciAnn Lowry on October 1, 2017 at 2:31 pm

Mary, I just checked and I’m almost positive it’s a gmail thing. Gmail puts things in separate ‘tabs’ and when something is coming from a business address like mine, they tend to wind up in spam or what they call the ‘promotional’ folder. Do you have that promotional tab? If so, will you check there?

  6. Jan Benner on October 1, 2017 at 12:56 pm

I can’t figure out how to find day 2 of the workshop. I never got the email. I did get day 3 this morning with the embellishments etc., but not day 2. I’m on the OG member’s site, and having difficulty finding day 2.

    Jan Benner

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 1, 2017 at 1:05 pm

Hi Jan… I’m sorry you didn’t get Day Two. That’s really strange. If you go to the Day 3 page, and look at the top, you’ll see links to all 3, including 2. You can click on Day 2 and get to from there.. I hope that helps. Sorry again about that.

  7. Cheryl Baker on October 2, 2017 at 4:50 pm

I have gmail also, but have looked through my promotional folder, trash, and the inbox and cannot find anything from Ornament Girl. Or will it come under another name? Thanks…..if I do not get it later today, I may re-register, or would that throw things off!! I signed up last night, about 10:30 or so….

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 2, 2017 at 5:35 pm

Hi Cheryl… I’m so sorry but I am not seeing you in my system at all, under either your email address or name. So, yes, please go ahead and resubmit your info – or if you’d like, I can add you on my end. Whatever is easiest for you. I’m sorry again about that!

      • Cheryl Baker on October 3, 2017 at 3:01 am

It was totally my fault….I did not click on the “I am not a robot button.” Thanks for checking…..and I’ve enjoyed the first video, too… do a fine job of explaining everything….thank you!!!!

  8. CeeJay on October 3, 2017 at 11:37 pm

I have learned so much from these videos, and it cleared up so many “why won’t it come out right” questions. I cannot wait to join the monthly club tomorrow – payday – we live from pay check to paycheck kind of family……………and look forward to learning so much more.

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 8, 2017 at 11:59 am

CeeJay, welcome to the club! I am so glad you’ve joined us, and that you found these videos helpful. 🙂

  9. Pamela on October 9, 2017 at 1:53 pm

I am watching your videos and they are so well done. Thank you. Soooo much Christmas yardage in my stash, so little time…

Question: I am having a problem with the commentary you made about stripes, I am dyslexic and I cannot see, in my head, what you mean when you describe the direction I want the stripes to run. Can you post some pictures and comments together so I can see what you mean? I don’t want to waste any fabric by cutting it and being disappointed with the results.

    Thank you!

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 10, 2017 at 3:45 pm

Hi Pamela. I’m so glad you like the videos 🙂 Yes, I will take a picture today of what I mean and will post it here for you.

  10. Debb Mcdonald on October 9, 2017 at 5:10 pm

I am not able to enter last 2 video’s i have emailed you 3 times

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 10, 2017 at 3:44 pm

Hi Debb… I’m sorry. I don’t have your emails for some reason. Could you tell me more specifically what you mean by not able to enter the videos? Is it the links in your emails that are not working?

  11. Karen Delmarco on October 13, 2017 at 12:39 am

Looking forward to your workshop, your creations are so polished! Ive.made many of these but want to learn your technique 😊

  12. Fawn on October 21, 2017 at 4:13 pm

Thank you for the free workshop. I have made several of the basic star ornaments. I bought two several years ago and in the last few I started making my own. The difference with mine is I cut squares not rectangles. It worked out fine but I now see where the rectangles makes more sense. My squares may end up in a quilt. Lol. I have a great deal of my own supplies and I am happy to see you are offering digital now. See you in Nov.. Thank You.

  13. Lupe Aguirre Palmer on October 24, 2017 at 2:52 am

  15. Kathy West on October 24, 2017 at 8:26 pm

  16. IRENE SCHOFIELD on October 27, 2017 at 5:49 pm

I registered for this workshop but now cannot locate the videos. Looked in my computer download folder, gmails, even my account – can’t find the video – particularly the one on making the bows. Any suggestions?

  20. Evey Hopkins on November 27, 2017 at 5:15 am

Love all the info and demos! I’m working on the USMC Ornament and that e-book has a link that references ornament girl school and it goes to a video that just loops and doesn’t play or it asks me to sign up for three part video. All I would like to request is clarification on how to tuck fabric in without it bunching or deforming the emblem. I’m a little lost on that step and can’t figure it out. I would appreciate any help provided.

    • Evey Hopkins on November 27, 2017 at 5:16 am

Also, I did see all three videos on the star ornament. They were so great! I decided to brave making my first ornament.

    • Janelle - Ornament Girl Customer Support on November 29, 2017 at 8:30 pm

Hi Evey, thanks for your kind words! I also wanted to let you know I got your email about this and will be helping you.

  21. Erna VILJOEN on November 28, 2017 at 5:11 pm

Hallo, I live in George, South Africa and followed your two videos with great excitement! My concern is that obviously the balls I purchase here, differs from yours and I am not sure how to figure out the size of a square, depending on the size of the ball. But thanks again, I am looking forward to video 3! Kind regards

  22. Alldaychemist on December 1, 2017 at 4:59 am

Many thanks really beneficial. Will share site with my good friends.

  26. Ruth Lloyd on March 14, 2018 at 3:22 am

Here we go again! I ordered some things from you in Feb. received some but not all. It’s been 4 days since I received them. I wrote and change my email and house address. I didn’t make a copy of what I ordered so don’t really know. I did order 10 smooth styrofoam 3 in. balls, a little bee charm for the fabric I ordered and got. I ordered one complete ball kit but can’t remember which one. I got some glass balls from amazon at the same time and got them right away. My old email address is new address is . I have been getting loads of email from you, I do enjoy them. Thank You for any help I can get. Ruth

    • StaciAnn Lowry on March 14, 2018 at 2:57 pm

Hi Ruth… Thank you for the updated email address. It looks like there have been 4 different email addresses from you over time, so I will combine everything into once account for you.

I checked your past orders. Other than the monthly club kits, I don’t see any orders for a separate complete kit, or foam balls (unless there is a 5th email address that I haven’t found yet?). Here is what you’ve ordered:

1 x Antique Bronze Bee Charms – 5 Count (includes 25 matching rings)
      1 x Ornament Starter Set – Ribbon Pre-Cut Rectangles + Band
      1 x Bee Fabric Pre-Cut Rectangles – 2 x 3 inch (32 count)
      1 x Honeycomb Fabric Pre-Cut Rectangles – 2 x 3 inch (32 count)
      1 x Lavender Tonal Pre-Cut Rectangles – 2 x 3 inch (32 count)
      1 x Pastel Pink Marble Fabric Pre-Cut Rectangles – 2 x 3 inch (32 count)

The tracking shows that this was delivered on March 2nd, to the address in Memphis, MO.

      Did you receive these items?
      Thank you… Staci Ann

      • Ruth Lloyd on March 25, 2018 at 5:18 am

  40. Lise Paradis on June 30, 2020 at 2:08 pm

I need some information about the right length and width for the ribbon to do a folded ribbon Christmas bauble and also the diameter of a styrofoam ball.

    • Janelle Taliercio on July 6, 2020 at 8:40 pm

Hi Lisa, we usually use either 1-1/2″ wide, or 2-1/2″ wide cut in half lengthwise. I hope that helps? Have a great day! Janelle
