I like several others have mentioned, go to the egg pattern because it says I have access but when I get there the e-book says I don’t have access. Thanks,
Debbie debsews2002@yahoo.com
Hi Debbie, I’m so sorry for any confusion! The video tutorial for this pattern is available for free, but if you would like to access the eBook as well, you would need to purchase the pattern.
It’s appears It’s my mistake it was a different pattern. sorry about that.
Hi Marilyn, I’m so glad you were able to figure it out! If you do ever need help with your pattern library, please let us know. We’re always happy to help!
Hi there. I am a bit confused. I went to my library as I know I have paid for this pattern and made it last year. It shows I have access but then it’s showing that I don’t to have access to the ebook. Could you please look and see for me. Thank you so much for your time.
Hello OG Team. I made the egg that Stacey demonstrates in sapphire blues for a 65th wedding anniversary. I would like to create the egg with the poinsettia pattern for a 70th wedding anniversary which is a platinum theme. Can you direct me on where to find those instructions? Thank you! Pam
Hi Pamela, we did a pattern on an egg in The Ornament Girls Club in March of 2019 that might work well for you. You will need to log into your account and access the secret store. If you need any help finding the pattern, please send us an email to staciann@theornamentgirl.com. we’ll be happy to help!
How would I use wide ribbon instead of cloth to make an ornament?
Hi!
Any chance I can purchase the geo cube for April 2022??????
It says out of stock at the secret store
I just love it , it turned out beautiful and I had the same fabric which made me real HAPPY!!! Thank You for all the beautiful patterns you share
Where are you getting your pins and what size are you using
How do you get the band to conform so nicely to the egg? The bottom of my band stands away from the egg.
Hi Carol, it will depend on how far down your band is on the egg. Around the center, it should lie pretty flat. If it is a little bit lower, you can try making the band a bit more narrow. Another option would be to cut the band on the bias to allow for some stretch. I hope that helps!
Thank you for the video, and these beautiful eggs. It doesn’t say but do you cut the fabric or does it come precut?
I thought I owned the Easter Egg ebook but it doesn’t give me access. I can watch the video but not read the text.
Hi Diane, I can see you own the March 2016 eBook, which was an Easter Egg as well. This pattern was released with a free video tutorial, but the eBook wasn’t included. I hope that helps!
Where did you get the paper flowers for the embellishments?
Can you a 6 section egg for these? I have extra and want to use them up. Thanks for your time.
Thank you StaciAnn and all.tbe ornamemtgirls team! I have never been so excited about crafts until I saw this video. I just felt so confident of how easy and clear the instructions were and the patience in making this video. I immediately shared the video from YouTube to all my lady friends and we decided to get together and make some together. Thank you so much ❤ 💓. I definitely will be buying more patterns and foam from your online store.
Hi Suzie, well you just made our day! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. And we’re SO so happy you enjoyed the process of ornamenting! I love that you got together with your friends to make ornaments, too. This is why we do what we do here. It makes us so incredibly happy to read this comment from you, Suzie. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
Hi, Stacey – I’m finally saving all my patterns to my MAC and I see that I have access to the Easter Egg pattern on the thumbnail page, however, when I go to download the e-book it shows I don’t have access.
HELP –
Kate
Hi Kate, would you be able to email support about this so we can help you further? https://ornamentgirls.com/contact/ We’ll be happy to help you. Thank you. Janelle
I love the Easter egg totorial you did but wondering if you are doing one on the egg you showed in video. The green with the orange flower side.
Loved the video!!! My fingers hurt watching, LOL. Love your scissors! Where can we purchase them?
Hi Ursula, you can find those scissors here: https://www.purlsoho.com/studio-carta-crane-scissors-large.html Thank you!
Under the Classic Patterns on my Dashboard, it shows I have access to the Easter Egg pattern, but when I click the link I’m taken to the page to purchase the pattern.
Colleen, oh no! Can you email us about this so we can help you? Thanks! https://ornamentgirls.com/contact/
I love this!!! Thank you!! I love your taste in your choice of fabric! Thank you again!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Have a great day and happy ornamenting.
fantastic.so much fun.i do it with ribbon.
Lovely egg in my email! Want to access the e-book, but haven’t been able to get it. The pattern is in my library, showing I have access to it. I can get the video alright. Is the e-book not available at this time?
Thanks.
Hi Julia, I’m so sorry about the trouble. Can you email us so we can research this further? I’m not able to locate the Easter egg pattern in your orders. https://ornamentgirls.com/contact/ Thanks! Janelle
Hi! Perhaps I misunderstood the message in the email. It appears I can only access the tutorial for the Easter egg pattern, but not the e-book unless I have actually purchased it. Is that correct?
Thanks!
Hi Julia… yes, you are correct! I’m sorry for any misunderstanding. The video tutorial is totally free, and so is the planner/coloring sheet. But the ebook is a paid product. It’s been a product of mine for years and I didn’t feel it would be fair to all those who have bought it over the years to make it free. But, the video does go into all the detail you’ll need to make this! I hope that helps 🙂
Please tell me, what size fabric pieces were used for this beautiful egg.
Thanks so much. Jan
Found the info on size of fabric for egg project….2×3.
Great! Happy ornamenting, Jan.
I think I missed this pattern. There were a couple days I did not receive a post from OG. Can I still buy this pattern? Thank you
I have been doing these eggs for many years, I have been giving them away for Easter gifts. they are just beautiful. every time I do one. it’s always different. Janet Ray
Hi Kimberly, yes you sure can! You can find the pattern here: http://theornamentgirl.com/market/product/quilted-easter-egg-pattern-e-book-no-sew/ Thanks!
Love the colours of the fabric. Very articulate explanations.
Thank you so much, Linda!
I will be ordering some eggs so I can do some of these. The fabrics are beautiful.
Thanks so much Barbara! You’re so kind to say so. Have a nice day!
Hermoso trabajo, como adorno navideño me gustaría, hacerlo
Gracias
Thank you so much, Luci! So happy you love it.
Addendum to my previous comment — Looking more closely, the floral fabric and the 2 pink fabrics appear to be the same fabrics used in the full Victoria pattern. Are they the same? Thanks again! 🙂
good eye! Yes they are! I used those two pinks as part of my Challenge fabrics this past year, and did use them in the full Victoria pattern! (I love the fabrics, can you tell? lol)
I really love these fabrics too! 🙂 I want to do some spring and Easter ornaments with these fabrics if I can find them online. Thanks again! 🙂
I just received my OG eggs and I guess I ordered the 5 line ones can I just re draw the line for 8 … sigh 🙁 cut all the fabrics all ready to go pull out my eggs and …🙁😢😫
Hi Laura, you can definitely just redraw your lines. I would use a pen or something that will have some clear lines for you to work with that way you don’t get confused as your adding fabric. The layers will hide the indents from the premarked lines. You can find a video on how to mark any egg into 8 segments here: https://ornamentgirls.com/8-segment-foam-egg/
Thank this looks good
Love the fabrics you used in this new version of the egg. Are the fabrics still available? What other info can you give us about these fabrics? Thank you!
Patricia, the fabrics are Rue 1800 by 3 Sisters for Moda. I love them too! They’ve been out for a while but you might be able to find them from a google search. I’ve been anxiously awaiting a new similar line by them!
Thanks for the info, now to do some googling 🙂
I found some on Hancock-Paducah Webb site.
Thank you for the Free Tutorial, that is very sweet of you! 💖 I need to get some foam eggs. I’ve only attempted 1 such egg foam pattern the Acorn back in the fall. This looks like fun!
