I just ordered the kit and am looking forward to getting it. Do you have a source for the sparkle string you used for her head?

Staci Ann, what would you suggest selling this for at a craft faire? 🙂

  4. Rosalyn on October 28, 2019 at 8:42 pm

Not certain how tall she gets as do not have time right now to watch video. Would like to recommend tall one for top of Christmas tree. I have three to make.

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 28, 2019 at 9:09 pm

Hi Rosalyn… this angel is small, only about 4″ tall, not including the halo. She is definitely more suited to be an ornament rather than a topper, but you could easily adapt the tutorial to make a larger one. I hope that helps.

Thank you for the video, this will be a fun project for me. If possible I would also like to buy one kit for the first angel. Can’t wait to get started. Thanks again.

Love it!!! I hope I can get all the series. Thank You is this wrote down anywhere to print?

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 29, 2019 at 2:50 am

Hi Sue… No, I don’t have an ebook for her. Just the video tutorial.

  7. Diana on October 29, 2019 at 12:10 am

What pins would you recommend. There are so many types and sizes.

    • StaciAnn Lowry on October 29, 2019 at 2:54 am

Hi Diana… I prefer 1-1/16″ (Size #17) myself. I know that some people prefer shorter pins and some prefer longer ones. I find the 1-1/16″ to be a good, happy medium, and they are easier for me to hold on to. Here’s a link to where you can find some them in a 1 lb box which is nice if you plan to make a group of these: https://theornamentgirl.com/blog/bulk-pins-dressmaker-size-17

I think I missed something….. how to I order the Whimsy Angel kit ?

    • StaciAnn Lowry on January 2, 2020 at 10:14 pm

Hi Floride.. .I’m so sorry but the kit is sold out. But I hope you can use the tutorial along with your own fabrics/materials. 🙂

  9. Laurette Norman on January 2, 2020 at 1:16 am

Hi Staci, What is the name of the fabrics that you used for Whimsy?

    • StaciAnn Lowry on January 2, 2020 at 10:15 pm

Laurette, they are called Swell Christmas by Moda.

      • Laurette Norman on January 4, 2020 at 12:39 pm

Thanks, Staci. I thought they looked familiar–July 2018 kit–with the winking Santa. I love that fabric. I have a small local fabric store owned by a Mennonite family that just might have some of this fabric. Thanks again and happy “ornament creating.”

Hello Staci, This was my first video to watch – you have an amazing talent, thank you for sharing it. I would like to know if this kit is still available and could I order one? So looking forward to making some of the other patterns along with what is posted in the group. Thank you again for letting me join such a creative group to make beautiful ornaments.

Hi Bette, you’re so kind! Thanks for sharing with us and I’m so happy you’re enjoying the videos. I’m so sorry but the quilted angels are sold out. They do tend to sell out rather quickly. So sorry.

Where did you get the halo pin?

  13. Susan Klitzke on January 13, 2021 at 2:36 am

I know this is a silly question, but I would like to make 6 of these angels. I would have to have 3 different fabrics. How much fabric should I order? Have you considered having the fabric bundles precut for the angel projects for sale? Thank you!

    • Janelle - Ornament Girls Support on January 14, 2021 at 1:38 am

Hi Susan, here is a link to our supplies, some of which you may find helpful: https://theornamentgirl.com/market/ I will find out about the question on how much fabric you should order and get back with you on that. Thanks!

I saw the Patriotic Angel and wanted to make one as a remembrance of my dad. Is that angel the same size as this one in the video? It says this one is 4″ but the cones I’ve been able to find are 2.75×6. Will the glass bead heads you sell fit a 2.75×6 cone? Also is there a way I can get the material placement for the Patriotic Angel? I love making the ornaments and all this is so addicting!! Thanks!!

  15. Donna Schaeffer on July 5, 2021 at 3:59 pm

Sorry, I did find the “Liberty” angel video. Since your foam is out of stock, my cone question still applies. Thanks again!

    • Janelle - Ornament Girls Club on July 7, 2021 at 4:36 pm

Hi Donna, they will go on any cone really, it’s just a matter of what size head you’re going for. I’m assuming the 6 inch is the height. That means the heads gonna look a lot smaller on yours than it does on ours because ours is 4 inches. I hope that helps? Thanks!

      • DOnna Schaeffer on July 8, 2021 at 6:14 pm

Thank you for verifying that for me.
