Angel Series #4: Meadow

This video will show you how to make an adorable Quilted Angel Ornament, using the Meadow Angel Kit (Fourth in the Series!)

We've also got the special Angel-Shaped Soft Foam, right HERE, and the custom clear crystal beads I used on her, are right HERE.

If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below, and I'll do my best to help.

Happy Ornament-ing!

I did this tutorial as a Live Demo in the OG Community....

Has anyone else had trouble with the audio on recent tutorials? It is very soft and mumbled to the extent you can not understand what is being said.
Are there written instructions for the angels?

    • Janelle Taliercio on April 25, 2020 at 2:31 am

Hi Gale, are you having trouble just with this Meadow Angel audio? Or are you having trouble with other videos too? Can you let me know? We don’t have any written patterns for the Angels. I did test the audio just now and was able to hear it just fine. Have you by chance tried in a different browser or refreshed and tried again? Hopefully, I can help you troubleshoot the problem. Thanks, Gale!

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I was crazy went on both times and you were sold out. Don’t think I had a chance those ladies are quick!
I will try with my fabric just have to find the cone size and I guess a woodbead for head! What size pins do we need to use ?
    Thank you again

    • StaciAnn Lowry on April 25, 2020 at 4:05 pm

Marie, I’m sorry you didn’t get one, but definitely do try and make one with your own fabrics.. I know you will love it!

You could do a beaded head on a regular cone, but we also do carry the exact angel foam shape separately, available here: https://theornamentgirl.com/market/product/smooth-foam-mini-angel-4-inch-tall/

For pins, you can really use almost any size, but I always prefer Size #17 Dressmaker Pins, they are 1-1/16″ long.

      • Pamela Dickey on July 29, 2021 at 2:28 pm

What type of pin would I need for the beaded head on an angel and could you send me the link of where to purchase them? Thankyou so much.

thank you Staci I enjoyed watching this I have so many of the 2 inch squares cut already
but would like to get some of the Angel cones. I enjoy making the balls for
my Great Grandchildren for Christmas so that they will have something to remember
    me by in the future.

    • Janelle Taliercio on May 1, 2020 at 12:47 am

You’re most welcome! I am sure your ornaments are so beautiful!

  15. jackie on April 27, 2020 at 3:39 pm

What type of crystal head would you use if we can’t get the angels with the foam head?

  16. carmen Irish on June 1, 2020 at 3:21 pm

So I asked one time so heres goes again how do you determine how big to cut the fabric squares for all the different style foam. Thank you…
I really want to try the trinity knot heart and round foams and the parasols but mess up on making them they’re so messy so I don’t finish them I take them apart.

Hi Staci and team – where do I buy the cording for around the angels head? I’ve looked on the tutorial, and it doesn’t say. I made my first one last night, and I’m hooked!

    Carol

    • Janelle Taliercio on July 23, 2020 at 10:17 pm

Hi Carol, we do sell it but are currently out of stock. I’m not sure if this site: https://theornamentgirl.com/blog/metallic-sparkle-string-cord-1-8-inch is out of stock with the white still but I believe she does have other colors right now, too, if the white is out of stock. I hope this helps! And whenever we do get more in, or if you need to see what other supplies we have in stock right now, you can go to our shop here: https://theornamentgirl.com/market/ Thanks! Have a great day, Janelle.
