Thank you for bringing such joy each day. I did want to ask you how you use the flat pointed loop pins, I have trouble getting them into my ornaments. Thank you
Hi Sheila, the long loop pins we use are actually pointed so they go right into the foam. We have them available in the Ornament Girl Supply Shop here: https://theornamentgirl.com/market/product-tag/long-loop-pins/
Thank you for this idea and clear video. I am making this next!
Could this be made on a foam ball?
Hi Linda, the disc defineitly leans toward a pumpkin shape. If you made it on a ball, it would look a lot like the moonlight pattern, which is totally fine! You can add some pumpkin-y embellishments to get the look you are going for.
I LOVE IT I’m going to have to make it I LOVE IT
I made 5 of these for my friends and they loved them. It was easy to make and I can’t wait to make more!

You’re very welcome! I hope you enjoy it.
Sorry haven’t got to make one yet hope to do one soon.Have to find the foam disk can’t wait to get started thank you.
Hi is this available in a print form? My mom doesn’t have good internet so I was hoping to get her a printed copy of the instructions?
Thank you
How long before the pre-grooved discs & balls become available? 🙂 Maybe a future product to offer…….
Any chance u would share where you got the spiral topper on the one pumpkin!
Hi Margie, our designer, Darlene, made that with regular crafting wire — by winding it around something narrow, like a crochet hook or pencil. She left a little bit extra at the end that she poked into the top of her pumpkin and secured with a dab of clear craft glue. Hope that helps!
Yes it helps a lot I thought it looked something like the spiral bead end capper or tossel capper lots of jewelry making books teach how to make. That is if you ever had a interest in making jewelry or wire beads or even your own jewelry making ends as I have always been inetrested in seems there are more crafts to try or make than anyone person could possibly get to in a life time. Ornament making is my favorite though, Thanks for getting back to me I greatly appreciate your time Stay Safe!!
These are so adorable and so much easier than the pumpkin shape. I’ll be making some to add to a bowl of my apple & pumpkin shape ornaments for this fall. Thanks for sharing.
I’m so glad you love them! And I love your idea of a bowl of apple and pumpkin shaped ornaments!

Love this pumpkin ornament!!! What are the 3 fall fabrics that Monica is using in the tutorial (and as pictured)? Love those too!!!
Hi Vicki! The center floral/paisley fabric is from the Autumn Album line by Henry Glass. The burnt orange fabric is from the Jenny Beyer Palette, by RJR. And the lighter orange fabric is a Paradise Embossed Tonal, by Maywood Studio. Hope that helps!
