Wonderful directions for dividing the foam ball into 8 sections. I used a strip of green painting tape, folded it in half lengthwise, sized it to your template and transferred the marks. Now I have a more permanet strip to use to segment mutlple balls .

The template is not here. Where can I find it please?

    • Sarah Cinocco on September 23, 2024 at 5:48 pm

Hi Lisa, if you scroll down past the video there is an icon that says “Click Here”. That should start the download of the template. Happy Ornament-ing!

I bought the tutorial which says there are instructions for marking an unsegmented ball above! It isn’t there. Where do I find it? And those strips mentioned above on this comment page aren’t showing up here either.

Hi Deborah, I checked on our end and it looks like you have opted out of receiving our emails so I cannot send the pdf to you. If you scroll down on this page, you can download it by clicking on the small thumbnail image of the template. You can also send us an email to staciann@theornamentgirl.com and we’ll be happy to help out more.

Maybe I am missing something. I understand how you mark the ball however, I need know how you cut the fabric. Is there a pattern piece for cutting the fabric?

  6. Al Etheredge on January 12, 2023 at 11:27 pm

Really enjoyed your video but I need a pattern to cut the fabric. Is that something you can give me?

Hi I thought I paid $7 for an ebook but everytime I click on it to download it says I have to pay $7 . So my $7 paid for a free you tube video to watch and one sheet of a template. • Sarah Cinocco on September 13, 2022 at 8:32 pm

      Hi Valerie,
I’m so sorry about any trouble! After you purchased your eBook, it should have been unlocked for you. Sometimes if you are not logged in, it will prompt you to purchase the pattern again. I know our customer support team has emailed you your password, but if you are still having trouble please reply to that email so we can make sure you can access everything.

There is no sound on your videos

    • Janelle - Ornament Girls Support on December 9, 2020 at 2:56 pm

Hi Patti, we do have sound on the videos, which leads me to believe this is a browser issue on your end. I would try a different browser, or see if your current browser needs updating. Will you email us if that doesn’t work so we can help you further? https://ornamentgirls.com/contact/

  13. Patricia Beaulieu on July 9, 2019 at 3:54 am

Hi again Staci. Please disregard my previous comment of a few minutes ago, I just found the video in question. Thanks again! 🙂

  14. Patricia Beaulieu on July 9, 2019 at 3:51 am

Hi Staci. quick question. In the video you mentioned you would post a link to explain how to find the poles on those balls that do not have the pole spots already on them. Where do I find that link? Thanks!

  15. Shari Zabroski on May 18, 2019 at 7:13 pm

Thanks for this video StaciAnn! I had a problem with the darker lines from a pen, and even a pencil sometimes, showing through really light colored fabric. If someone is doing a snow globe ornament with a white background fabric, the line could show through. So, what I started doing was use the purple dissolving marker that I use for marking fabric for sewing. It disappears after a few hours or so and won’t show through the fabric. Just thought this might be helpful to anyone else who had a problem with lines showing through a very light colored fabric.

That’s a great idea! Thanks, Shari!

Thank you so much! My biggest problem is finding the poles and having them in the right place on each side of the balls. I usually end up with a crooked ornament and I think this will be very helpful! I just joined and already have learned a new technique!

    • StaciAnn Lowry on February 15, 2019 at 4:53 am

Donna, I’m so glad this was helpful to you! Welcome to the club!!

How do you mark for 3sections. I don’t see how you can get 3out of 8.
