Monica, i got my hemi’s today and have watched your video…. I’m still new at this and am not sure how to section the hemi! I watched the parasol video too, but since that is a ball & this is only half a ball I’m lost! Can you help? Thanks!

    • Monica on April 17, 2018 at 3:10 am

Hi Barbara! Dividing a hemi is very similar to dividing a ball, but since a hemi is basically just a ball cut in half, you should measure around the BASE of the hemi (versus measuring around the middle of a ball). So the same marks you would normally make around the equator line of a ball should be made around the bottom part of the hemi — where the band or ribbon will be wrapped around later. Does this help?

      • Barbara on April 17, 2018 at 9:30 pm

Thanks! That is what i thought but just wanted to be sure!

  27. Perry Andersen on October 13, 2018 at 6:22 am

These are beautiful, Have you done a video for making the Unicorn?

    • Monica Mihajlovic on December 13, 2018 at 9:31 am

Hi Perry. 🙂 My apologies for missing this question until now. Yes, the unicorn video is a bonus with the Iris pattern.

  28. Mitzi on December 22, 2018 at 12:46 pm

How do you fix it so you can hang it? Do you run a wire completely through it before adding the dowel or straw? I just made one and the top where the material comes together isn’t stable enough to support it’s weight 🤔

  29. Tammera Andersen on May 6, 2019 at 7:49 pm

Do you put padding on the foam disc?

  30. organic cbd on December 28, 2019 at 5:07 pm

I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this information together.
I once again find myself personally spending a significant amount of time both

    still worthwhile!
